Pattaraporn Promkot (Baitoey)
Baitoey is a researcher with years of experience working as community organizer with a wide range of grassroots including youth, children with cancer, and local communities. She is passionate about human rights, youth activism and social change.
Previously with Amnesty International Thailand as a member of Growth Mobilization Team, Baitoey spent formative years with international volunteer services in Poland, Songkhla province, as well as with university students across Thailand as the project and activity coordinator for “Volunteer to Reduce Accidents,” a project under the Komol Khemthong Foundation. She holds a bachelor degree in Chemistry from Mahidol University, and has recently gained more skills in social sciences research by working as a data collector for Coram International on a baseline survey project related to Child Protection System for UNICEF Thailand. Since Sep 2018, she has served as a research assistant on labor migration to one of JELI’s senior researchers.
