Just Economy and Labor Institute (JELI) is non-profit organization working to promote social justice and ensure the protection of labor rights. We support workers and labor organizations by offering educational and capacity-building programs. We also partner with rights-based organizations that share our vision and missions to conduct research and design campaign-oriented trainings aimed to achieve economic and labor justice.

Jon Fox

Senior Operations Manager

Jon has spent nearly two decades working with communities in Southeast Asia, the U.S.A, and the Middle-East, to design, implement, and manage a range of research and advocacy strategies expanding both human and civil rights, such as democracy reform, environmental justice, Internet freedom, and good governance. He has effectively engaged in advocacy, direct action, research, program design, public outreach, voter education, and fundraising. Work experience at the international, national, and local level has fine-tuned his ability to successfully collaborate with diverse groups from different backgrounds in order to achieve common objectives, win campaigns, and drive positive social change.

 

Jon received his Masters degree from Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs, where he majored in Human Rights with a regional focus in Southeast Asia, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
