Woradul Tularak
Senior Research Associate/Labor Educator
Woradul is a seasoned labor rights educator, researcher, and independent scholar.
Trained as a political scientist and economist, Woradul holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, US. Formerly worked as a researcher at Thailand Development Research Institute, Woradul's interests span a wide range of issues. While his past work focuses on capital mobility, contract and agency labor, and supply chain mapping, he has more recently participated in broader policy-oriented projects such as drafting strategic plans on human development, environments, and access to justice.
He has widely contributed to academic and strategic research projects. His publications include, for example, "Thailand Precarious Work: An Assessment (2013)," co-authored with Prof. Kevin Hewison, in American Behavioral Scientist, and Report on Contract and Agency Labor in Tire Industry in Thailand (2011), with International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers Unions (ICEM). Joining JELI in early 2019, Woradul has brought vast experience and expertise to strengthen our work on the platform economy, and food and automotive supply chains.
